JACKSONVILLE, Fla – A 37-year-old man died Sunday night in a rollover crash on Interstate 295 between the Roosevelt Boulevard ramp and the Buckman Bridge, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Three of four northbound lanes were blocked after the 8:40 p.m. crash. Troopers said the victim veered his SUV to the right and began to overturn as it rotated. The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected and died at the scene.
