Scattered showers with thunderstorms are moving from northwest to southeast at about 10-15 mph. These will continue along and near I-10 through around 8-10 p.m. Activity will wind down near I-95 around 7 p.m. Lingering showers and thunderstorms will be possible near I-75. Gusty winds and locally heavy rainfall are the main storm hazards today.
The unsettled pattern continues through Monday, with damaging winds and flooding remaining the main concerns.

Friday: Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop along the stalled cold front. Rain chances over NE FL will average 50-60 percent, SE GA 30-40 percent. Strong to severe storms will be possible. Lows in the upper 70s to low 80s. Afternoon highs in the mid to upper 90s. Wind: SW 10-15 mph. Cloudy skies overnight.
Weekend: Scattered showers and thunderstorms will blanket northeast Florida and southeast Georgia, with rain chances of 60-80 percent. Lows in the 70s to low 80s. Highs in the upper 80s to low 90s. Wind: SW 5-10 mph.
