Police: Fight leads to deadly shooting at Jacksonville gas station No description found
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man is dead after he was found shot multiple times Wednesday afternoon at a gas station on Harts Road, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
Sgt. Adam Blinn said units were dispatched to Valero gas station on Harts Road north of Dunn Avenue just after 4:30 p.m. He said the man died in the parking lot.
“It appears there was a fight between several individuals just prior to the gunshots,” Blinn said.
The shooter was seen leaving the area in a small white SUV, Blinn said. He did not have the make and model of the vehicle, which was heading north on Harts Road.
The victim was not identified. Anyone with information was asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 904-630-0500 or Crime Stoppers of Northeast Florida anonymously at 1-866-845-TIPS.
