Mega Millions jackpot rises to $447 million just in time for Tuesday’s drawing

Good luck tonight!

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – It’s a big year for the lottery!

The Mega Millions and Powerball are now at more than $400 million each -- and that’s only ever happened twice before. If you were to win both, you’d get nearly one billion dollars.

You would be worth more than Taylor Swift. Her net worth is about 400 million, but you have to win both jackpots to be worth as much as Tiger Woods. He’s worth about 800 million dollars.

The Mega Millions jackpot increased to an estimated $447 million on Tuesday and the Powerball jackpot rolled to an estimated $410 million on Saturday.

What could the jackpot mean?

In terms of toilet paper... with $400 million you can buy more than 32 million 12-pack rolls. And Clorox wipes... you can buy up to 149 million canisters (if you can find them).

Chances of winning the mega millions? 1 in 302 million.

Chances of winning the Power Ball? 1 in 292 million.
