JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police are searching for a woman driving a red car who may be connected to a deadly shooting Monday at a Northside restaurant.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, a man was walking through the parking lot of a Popeyes restaurant on Dunn Avenue around 1 p.m. when a woman driving a dark red sedan pulled up next to him and fired at least one shot. The woman sped off and has not been found, JSO said just after 4 p.m.

The man was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, JSO said.
