28-year-old killed in Alachua County crash, troopers say

A 28-year-old Tampa man was killed in a crash Saturday evening in Alachua County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The crash happened about 7:50 p.m. on Interstate 75.
According to the Highway Patrol, the man was driving a sedan south when the car veered off the interstate to the right, went down an embankment and struck a tree.
Troopers said the man died.
