JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A pedestrian was killed Wednesday night after they were hit by a vehicle driving on the Westside, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The collision happened around 10 p.m. near the intersection of Beaver Street and Maple Avenue.

Beaver Street was blocked in both directions after the crash, FHP said.
