Investigators said several dozen teenagers were at a party when the argument erupted that led to the fatal shooting.

In a news release, Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly asked parents to speak with their children who might have been out Friday night to see if they witnessed anything.

“We are hoping that some of the people in attendance may have captured video of the incident and people that attended,” Staly said. “Parents, please speak with your children. Always know where your children are, who they are with and what they are doing. If they were out late last night, they may have the clue or video on their phone which could help us solve this case and find a killer.”

At this time, the investigation is ongoing. As information becomes available, the FCSO will release it to the community, the release said.

If you have any information about the incident, contact the FCSO by calling 386-313-4911, e-mail TIPS@FlaglerSheriff.com or call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-277-TIPS. A reward of up to $5,000 has been offered by CrimeStoppers of Northeast Florida for a tip that leads to an arrest.
