Overturned semi-tractor trailer closes all eastbound lanes of I-10 in Macclenny
MACCLENNY, Fla. – An overturned semi-truck on I-10 had all eastbound lanes blocked in Macclenny.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, at around 6 a.m. a semi-truck pulling a trailer loaded with frozen chicken was traveling east in I-10 at mile marker 341. For an unknown reason the truck went off the road and into the shoulder.
The truck skidded across the interstate where it had all eastbound lanes blocked.
The driver was taken to UF health with minor injuries.
Crews have removed the truck -- but debris still clutters the highway.
The Department of Transportation camera showed a dumpster was brought out to the roadside to help clean up the mess.
We will update you when the area is cleared for traffic.
