Crash in Palm Coast kills 45-year-old woman, FHP says

PALM COAST, Fla. – A crash occurred Wednesday evening in Flagler County leaving one dead.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, an SUV was waiting at the red light on US 1 around 7 p.m. to turn onto White View Parkway.

A pick-up truck was traveling north on US 1, approaching White View Parkway when the SUV turned into the pick-up truck’s path, says FHP.

The SUV collided with the pick-up truck’s right side, forcing the vehicle to spin around, said FHP.

The 45-year-old SUV driver was wearing a seat belt but died from her injuries.

The pick-up truck driver and two passengers, including a 13-year-old, suffered minor injuries. All three were wearing seat belts, according to the report.
