Small plane slides off runway at JAX; no injuries reported

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A Cessna Citation jet landed safely, but skidded off a runway Friday night at the Jacksonville International Airport, a spokesperson for the Airport Authority told News4JAX.

Six people were reportedly on board the plane. There were no injuries.

A section of the runway was closed, though it didn’t appear to be hampering incoming or outgoing flights, the spokesperson said.
