Both people inside the gray car -- a 44-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman -- were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, according to FHP. Both were wearing seat belts.

The woman driving the red car was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, and the man who was in the front passenger seat of the red car died at the scene, FHP said. The man was not wearing a seat belt, according to the report. It’s unclear if the woman was wearing hers.

The crash is still under investigation.
