We’re starting off quiet and comfortable across NE Florida and SE Georgia with mostly clear skies and morning lows in the 60s inland to around 70 closer to the coast. Monday will be mostly sunny, warm, and mainly dry with highs near 90. Winds will come out of the southwest around 5-10 mph, with a few gusts near 15 mph.
The dry stretch holds into Tuesday for most of the day. We’ll see plenty of sunshine again with highs near 90, then just a very isolated shower or storm possible late Tuesday afternoon or evening, mainly after 5 PM. Rain chances stay low at only about 10%.
By midweek, moisture slowly starts to creep back in. Wednesday and Thursday bring a few isolated afternoon storms, with rain chances around 20-30%. Highs ease slightly into the mid to upper 80s, but it will still feel warm and humid.
The better chance for rain arrives Friday into Saturday. Scattered to likely showers and storms return, especially during the afternoon and evening hours. Rain chances climb to around 60%, so we’ll need to watch for locally heavy downpours and slower-moving storms heading into the weekend.
