JASMYN hosts annual Coming Out Day Breakfast

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – JASMYN, Northeast Florida’s only LGBTQIA+ youth center, will host its annual Coming Out Day Breakfast on Tuesday, Oct. 24.

The event will celebrate diversity in our Northeast Florida workforce and honor individual leaders, employee resource groups, corporations and non-profit partners, while focusing support for our LGBTQIA+ teens and young adults.

Past honorees include VyStar Credit Union CEO Brian Wolfburg, local attorney and Diversity Manager for the City of Jacksonville, Jimmy Midyette.

The sold-out event will be held at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront; doors will open at 7 a.m.

Former Executive Director of GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network), Eliza Byard, will deliver the keynote address.

Distinguished Guests Include Mayor Donna Deegan and former Mayor John Delaney.

JASMYN believes in recognizing the efforts of business and community leaders in our shared fight for equity in Northeast Florida.
