81-year-old man dead after being struck by an SUV in Flagler County

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – An 81-year-old man died after he was hit by an SUV in Flagler County on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Officials said the SUV was traveling north on County Road 305 just south of County Road 2006.
Investigators said the driver didn’t slow down for traffic ahead, causing her to swerve to the right shoulder and striking the man.
