Missing 96-year-old man with dementia found safe

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said a 96-year-old man diagnosed with dementia was found safe after being missing since 1 p.m. Sunday.

Family members reported the man missing from the Argyle Forest area of Jacksonville after he did not return home.

At 11:30 a.m. Monday, JSO posted an update that the man was found and is safe.
