Severts Tree Farm asks for help from local residents for those affected by Hurricane Helene in North Carolina
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Severts Christmas Tree Company is stepping in to help those affected by Hurricane Helene.
The company announced it will be filling a semi-truck with supplies to donate to Ashe, Alleghany, and Avery County communities in North Carolina at the end of the week.

The Christmas tree company says the most needed supplies are water and non-perishable items such as:
Bottled water
Jugs of water
Pallets of water (the company has a forklift available if you are able to donate a pallet)
Baby formula, baby food
Nonperishable foods
Toiletries
Towels
Pillows
Gas cans
Bread
Peanut butter
Jelly
Paper products
Batteries
Flashlights
Bleach
Cleaning supplies
Adult diapers
Baby diapers
The Christmas tree farm is accepting donations at two different locations:
Jacksonville: 5207 Doolittle Road until Oct. 4 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
St. Augustine: STA Realty at 1965 A1A S. until Oct. 4 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
