Man dies in shooting in Jacksonville’s Longbranch neighborhood

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was found dead in Jacksonville’s Longbranch neighborhood on Thursday.
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, around 4:30 p.m., officers responded to East 21st Street about a person shot.
Police found a man with a gunshot wound. He was found dead at the scene.
The relationships of those involved are unknown, JSO said.

Police believe this is an isolated incident, and there is no additional threat to the community.
