Park bench named in memory of late Bitty and Beau’s co-owner in San Marco

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Officials in San Marco named a park bench in memory of the late co-owner of Bitty & Beau’s Coffee Shop on Saturday.

It was a surprise to Howard White’s wife, co-owner Lissie Hurst.

Saturday also marked the second anniversary of the Bitty and Beau’s San Marco location.

White and Hurst are both long-time Jacksonville residents. White founded the North Florida Builders and Hurst has a son who has autism. She is also a former special education teacher and a graduate of The Bolles School.
