JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said it has arrested 38-year-old Falen McNeil after she shot and killed her boyfriend in the Norwood area on Saturday morning.
According to JSO, patrol officers arrived at Teresa Avenue near Pearl Street around 5:30 a.m. in response to a shooting.
“When officers arrived, McNeil approached them and told them she shot her boyfriend, David Cruz. Cruz died at the scene,” JSO said.
Following an investigation, police said they arrested McNeil for Cruz’s murder and booked her into jail.
