Jaguars linebacker Ventrell Miller hosts a back-to-school event for local kids

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Ventrell Miller is teaming up with Universal Property & Casualty Insurance to host a back-to-school event with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida.

The event Friday at the Baxter Luther Boys & Girls Club in Jacksonville aims to inspire local children as they head into the new school year.

At least 100 children in grades K–5 will be provided with school supplies and backpacks.

Organizers say this event is part of Ventrell Miller’s ongoing commitment to giving back to the Jacksonville & Central Florida communities by supporting youth.

“This community has shown me so much love and support,” said Miller. “I want to make sure our kids feel equipped and excited to succeed in the classroom. This is more than just handing out supplies—it’s about making sure they feel good and ready as they enter the new school year."
