Here’s more on what fans -- especially those visiting from out of state -- should know before they head downtown:

Game Day events

The TaxSlayer Tailgate, which is free for the public, no game ticket required, runs from 3:30-7 p.m. at the Flex Field next to the stadium

The pre-game tailgate party will feature inflatable and traditional tailgate games and photo ops.

Those with tickets to the game can also get tickets to the Touchdown Party, which runs from 5:30 p.m. until kickoff in the EverBank Stadium Sky Patio.

Parking & entry

Fans are also encouraged to arrive early.

  • Parking lots open at 2:30 p.m.
  • Fan Fest opens at 3:30 p.m.
  • All gates open at 5:30 p.m.
  • Kick-off is at 7:30 p.m.

The Gator Bowl says to expect heavy delays if you arrive after 6:30 p.m., moderate delays if you arrive by 6 p.m. and minimal delays if you arrive by 5 p.m.

Parking passes are completely mobile for the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl. Please have your pass downloaded and ready!

The stadium also uses only mobile tickets, so have your tickets downloaded and ready to scan before arriving at the stadium gates.

Visit TaxSlayerGatorBowl.com/MobileTicketingGuide for a step-by-step guide for how to download your tickets.

The Gator Bowl recommends that each guest have their own mobile ticket to scan. Re-entry is not permitted.

At the self-scan ticket kiosks, guests will:

  • SCAN for secure digital tickets (moving barcode)
  • TAP for tickets if being accessed from a digital wallet

Because of construction around the stadium, guests are asked to make sure they know the best gate for them to enter before they arrive. You can find that here.
