A woman and her estranged husband died Thursday morning in a double shooting in Bradford County, the Sheriff’s Office said.
According to investigators, a 911 hang-up call came from a home on 6th Lane in Starke at about 5:15 a.m. Thursday.

Deputies were sent to the home and found a man near the front entrance who was dead from an apparent gunshot wound to the head.
Deputies knew a woman lived in the home, so they searched for her and found her unresponsive in the yard with an apparent gunshot wound to the neck.
The Sheriff’s Office said deputies and medical personnel began life-saving measures, but she died shortly after paramedics arrived.
Investigators said the double shooting appears to be related to “an ongoing domestic violence case between an estranged husband and wife.”
They have not shared any other information yet and said the names of the man and woman won’t be released until after their family is notified.
