Son accused of strangling mother to death in Hidden Hills home: JSO

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 31-year-old man was arrested after he was accused of strangling his mother to death at a Hidden Hills home on Friday.
Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office officers arrived at a home on Bleinheim Place after responding to a battery call.
They found Jacqueline Jones-Garrison unresponsive and determined she had been strangled.
JSO said she died on the scene.
The investigation led to Jones-Garrison’s son as the suspect.
He was arrested on Saturday and charged with second-degree murder.
