JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man shot and injured two suspects overnight after they approached him with guns and demanded that he get out of his car in Northwest Jacksonville, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
The shooting happened around 11:40 p.m. Tuesday on Crestwood Street, in the Norwood area.

According to JSO, initial investigation revealed the man was sitting in his car when he was approached by four armed suspects. Police said the suspects then ordered the man to get out of his car.
When the man got out of his car, the man and the suspects began firing at each other, JSO said.
The man struck two of the suspects, one in the leg and the other in the back.
Both of the suspects were transported to a hospital in stable condition.
According to police, officers responded to the scene quickly and detained the suspects.
