Man, 47, dies after being hit by car on I-75 North in Columbia County, troopers say

COLUMBIA COUNTY, Fla. – The Florida Highway Patrol reported a fatal collision early Sunday morning on I-75 north near mile marker 432 in Columbia County.
According to FHP, a vehicle traveling northbound struck a 47-year-old man from Lakeland who was lying in the roadway. The man died at the scene.
FHP continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident. Next of kin notification is pending.
