JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp are back at VyStar Ballpark this week with a full slate of themed nights, giveaways and family-friendly promotions as they take on the Charlotte Knights from April 14–19.
From Education Day and Jackie Robinson Day to fireworks, giveaways and a dog-friendly Sunday, the homestand offers something for every fan.
⚾ Tuesday: Education Day and ballpark deals
April 14 at 11:05 a.m.
The week begins with Education Day, welcoming students from across the First Coast for a fun and interactive day at the ballpark.
Fans can also take advantage of Stahl Meyer Two for Tuesday, featuring two hot dogs for $2 at select concession stands throughout the stadium.
✊ Wednesday: Honoring a legend and giving back
April 15 at 7:05 p.m.
Wednesday night celebrates Jackie Robinson Day, honoring the legacy of the baseball pioneer who broke barriers and changed the game forever.
The Jumbo Shrimp will also partner with First Coast Habitat for Humanity for Charity Begins at Home, raising awareness and funds through special promotions.
Fans who arrive early can snag a “Breaking Barriers” T-shirt giveaway for the first 500 people through the Main Gate.
Thursday: Military appreciation and Thirsty Thursday
April 16 at 7:05 p.m.
Thursday night is dedicated to service members during Military Appreciation Night, presented by Ascension St. Vincent’s. Complimentary tickets will be available for active-duty military, veterans and their families, while supplies last.
Fans can also enjoy Coors Light Thirsty Thursday, featuring discounted draft beers across the ballpark.
🎆 Friday: Fireworks and music vibes
April 17 at 7:05 p.m.
Friday brings a mix of entertainment and celebration with Friday Night Fireworks lighting up the sky after the game.
The night also features Record Store Night, with local vendor Bruiser Records offering vinyl, merchandise and more on the concourse ahead of National Record Store Day.
Additional highlights include:
- Friday Night Lites Happy Hour with drink specials until 7:30 p.m.
- Red Shirt Friday, where fans wearing red receive a ticket discount in support of the military
🎁 Saturday: Big giveaway and fireworks
April 18 at 6:35 p.m.
Saturday is one of the most anticipated nights of the homestand with a Replica Jersey Giveaway for the first 2,000 fans entering through the Main Gate.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early, as the limited-edition Triple-A National Championship red jersey is expected to go quickly.
The evening wraps up with Saturday Night Fireworks, presented by Florida State College at Jacksonville and VyStar Credit Union.
🐶 Sunday: Dogs, brews and family fun
April 19 at 2:05 p.m.
Sunday’s game is packed with activities for the whole family — and even four-legged fans.
Highlights include:
- Bark n Brew, featuring unlimited beer sampling from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and a game ticket package
- Canines and Crustaceans (Dog Day), where dogs are welcome at the ballpark with a paid human ticket
- Youth Sports Day, celebrating teams from across North Florida
Families can also enjoy Baptist Health Sunday Family FUNday, which includes pregame catch on the field, face painting and balloon animals.
After the game, kids can take part in Kids Run the Bases, a fan-favorite weekly tradition.
