Autism Acceptance Month: Meet George the Wonderful is helping change perspectives
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – It’s Autism Acceptance Month and we’re shining a light on a new book series that’s opening hearts and changing perspectives.
Dr. Cassandra “CC” Barlow, an educator and author, is the creator of Meet George the Wonderful — a story that introduces readers to a lovable young boy living with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Through George’s journey, the series explores the challenges families may face, while also celebrating the unique strengths, talents, and joy that come with it.
Dr. Barlow is also taking her message into the community with an upcoming book signing event this weekend at St. John Knits at the St. Augustine Premium Outlets from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. RSVP for the event by calling 904-824-4646 or email SJK099@sjk.com.
