JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 70-year-old Jacksonville man was killed Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle crash on US-1 near Trout River Boulevard, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at approximately 9:40 a.m.

Troopers say a 23-year-old Jacksonville man was driving a sedan northbound on US-1, south of Trout River Boulevard, in the inside left-turn-only lane. He attempted to turn left northwest onto Trout River Boulevard, according to the report.
At the same time, the motorcyclist — a 70-year-old Jacksonville man — was traveling southbound on US-1, north of Trout River Boulevard, in the outside lane. Troopers say the motorcycle’s front end collided with the right front of the sedan.
The sedan driver sustained serious injuries.
Charges are pending, according to the report.
