Both were taken to the hospital by paramedics.
Investigators said it appears the two men got into a fight at the Regency Inn and one of them pulled out a handgun.
Police said the men kept fighting and a woman, who was also armed with a handgun, got involved in the fight.
“A firearm was discharged, striking” both men, JSO said.
They did not clarify whether the man or the woman fired the shot.
Everyone involved has been detained, JSO said, and detectives with the Robbery and Violent Crime Unit are actively interviewing witnesses, canvassing for surveillance video, and following up on investigative leads.
“The community’s assistance is critical in this investigation,” JSO said.
