Scattered showers could produce strong to severe thunderstorms this afternoon (after 2 p.m.) as temperatures climb back into the mid-90s. Feels like temperatures will range from 107 to 113 degrees.
More steamy heat and stormy weather to continue into the weekend. Temperatures remain in the mid-upper 90s with heat advisories likely.
Tropics: What was an 80%/high chance of development for AL92 is now only 30% as weakening occurs. AL 94 remains at a medium/30-50% chance of development over the next 2-7 days. This system is moving WNW and could form into next tropical system over the weekend.
