JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was hospitalized Tuesday night after being shot during an Instagram-arranged sale at a Lake Forest Hills apartment complex, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
JSO officers responded to the shooting around 7:37 p.m. at the Pine Hills Apartment complex on Oriole Street.

A man was found shot in his lower back and right forearm. Police said he met with an unknown individual through Instagram to purchase an item. JSO did not specify what item was exchanged.
During the exchange, the man paid the suspect, who then pulled out a gun and fired multiple shots at the victim, striking him twice, JSO said.
The man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The shooter drove off from the scene.
