JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department said it transported an adult and a pediatric patient with critical injuries after a crash involving a semi-truck at New Kings Road and Soutel Drive on Wednesday morning.

Officials said the crash happened at 8:50 a.m. and the scene is still active. Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
