JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Winn‑Dixie will celebrate the opening of its new Brentwood store Saturday, marking the final Harveys Supermarket to be converted to the Winn‑Dixie banner across Florida and southern Georgia, the company said.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony is set for 10:30 a.m. at 201 W. 48th St., followed by a community celebration from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Activities include DJ entertainment, giveaways, product sampling, kids’ activities and raffle prizes.

Attendees have a chance to win six $250 gift cards every 30 minutes; winners must be 18 or older and present to claim prizes. The event will also feature a $1,000 check presentation to Groundwork Jacksonville.
Winn‑Dixie said the converted store includes refreshed produce, bakery, meat, seafood, floral and grocery departments; an enhanced deli with daily self-serve hot foods and a wing bar; and expanded Hispanic offerings across departments, including tropical produce, deli specialties and bakery items. The store also features a modernized exterior, updated signage and a community room for local meetings.
The Brentwood Winn‑Dixie will be open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
