Mayor Deegan to unveil childcare access report, recommendations

Jacksonville Mayor Donna Deegan will join educators, parents and advocates Thursday to unveil new findings from the Childcare Solutions for Early Learning Task Force.

The event is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. at Mitchell Learning Academy on Lee Road.

The task force report examines the rising costs of childcare in Jacksonville, the challenges facing both families and providers, and features strategic recommendations to address the issue.
