Traffic Alert: JSO patrol car overturns on Hart Expressway at University Blvd., all southbound lanes closed

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Emergency crews were on the scene of a crash with injuries in the southbound lanes of the Hart Expressway at University Blvd. S on Friday afternoon.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office says a section of the Hart Expressway will be closed for an undetermined amount of time.

A New4JAX crew on the scene observed a JSO patrol car that had flipped over.

We are still working to get more information from JSO.

Traffic is being rerouted onto University Boulevard.

Jacksonville Fire and Rescue says one person was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
