St. Augustine, Fla. – St. Augustine’s annual celebration of live music is marking a major milestone. Sing Out Loud Festival turns 10 in September 2026 — and it’s doing it bigger than ever.
For the first time in the festival’s history, the Local Artist Showcases and the marquee Francis Field weekend will take place in separate months, with the Francis Field weekend moving to May 2027. That gives each chapter of the festival its own moment — and gives music fans even more to look forward to.

Local showcases: The heart of Sing Out Loud
The Local Artist Showcases have been a cornerstone of the Sing Out Loud experience since the festival launched in 2016. Each September, the showcases give music fans the chance to discover established and emerging artists while exploring St. Augustine’s independent venues.
A decade later, that spirit remains at the heart of the festival — celebrating the artists, venues and music community that make Northeast Florida unique.
Surprise appearances continue a Sing Out Loud tradition
Surprise artist appearances have long been part of the Sing Out Loud experience, and the 10th anniversary keeps that tradition alive — this time in partnership with St. Johns Cultural Council.
On Friday, Sept. 11, Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Aoife O’Donovan will perform with the St. Augustine Bluegrass Unit and Eowyn Sage at Spinster Abbott’s. The event is free and open to the public.
On Sunday, Sept. 13, the improvisational ensemble Sam Grisman Project will perform alongside a screening of the poetic documentary Summer Tour at Ponte Vedra Concert Hall.
A community celebration — and a taste of it, too
Community collaboration has always been part of the Sing Out Loud identity, and 2026 brings a sweet one. The festival is partnering with local favorite Mayday Handcrafted Ice Cream on a limited-edition flavor: Spoonbill Guava Cheesecake — a bright, creamy guava-lime ice cream with crumbles of Mayday’s handcrafted cookies studded throughout.
Named for the iconic pink-and-white spoonbill that calls the region home, the flavor pays tribute to the area’s unique flora and fauna, with tropical guava bringing a taste of Old Florida to every scoop. It will be available exclusively at Mayday’s St. Johns County locations throughout September — a delicious way to celebrate music, creativity and community.
