ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Higher-than-normal tides could cause nuisance flooding in low-lying areas of St. Augustine from Sunday through Tuesday, according to the City of St. Augustine.
The city said these seasonal flooding events are not unusual and typically occur each fall.

Drivers are urged to avoid standing water whenever possible. If driving through flooded areas is necessary, officials recommend slowing down and avoiding creating a wake, which can push water onto nearby properties and create additional hazards.
