One person hospitalized after disturbance on 3rd Street South

One person was injured by gunfire Sunday evening after officers responded to a reported disturbance at 277 3rd Street South, investigators said.

Officers responded at approximately 6:39 p.m. The injured person was taken to a local hospital. Their condition was not immediately known.

Another person was detained. The scene remains contained, and officials said there is no threat to the public.
