Police:Man shot during robbery attempt

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was robbed and shot early Sunday morning, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.

Police said they responded to Caravan Circle and found a man with a gunshot wound. The man told them he was approached by four men wearing masks and armed with a gun. Authorities said the man was shot after being robbed.

The man was hospitalized, and his injuries are non-life threatening, authorities said.
