Video: Coast Guard rescues dog after 300-foot fall from Ecola State Park cliff in Oregon
CLATSOP COUNTY, OR – A dog is safe and sound after taking a terrifying tumble off a 300-foot cliff in Oregon.
The Coast Guard Air Station posted the video above on social media of the rescue that took place on New Years Day.
Viewers can see the aircrew from Coast Guard Air Station Astoria rescue the pup in a basket that is pulled back up in to the helicopter. You can hear the pilot say to the rescuer “first dog rescue.”
Leo, the dog, is doing well and is expected to recover!
