Residents from all over step up to help build Brantley County community back up

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A community looking out for each other. That’s what Friday reflected as people from all across the area showed up at News4JAX to donate supplies for wildfire victims in Brantley County.

From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., every day, people, businesses, and students brought essentials—like toiletries, baby items, and hand-packed kits to help a community in need.

Roscoe and Gayle Craft were among the many who came to give back.

“People need it,” they said. "

Jacksonville bedding, along with Nature Pedic, donated more than $30,000 in children’s bedding.

The day highlighted how quickly disaster can strike and how much community support matters when families lose everything.
