Trendy Easter art the whole family can make

You don’t need any previous drawing, painting skills, or artistic talent to make beautiful fluid art! Pinspiration Jacksonville joins the show to help Mark and Rance create beautiful pieces of art just in time for Easter.

Today we used the flip cup technique, which is easy for beginners, but there are hundreds of ways to customize your painting by using different colors, pouring techniques, additives, and “canvases.” A pouring medium is an additive used to create a thinner, flowing consistency in acrylic paint. It helps to increase the paint flow and reduce the viscosity of heavier paints, while maintaining color, texture and opacity in your finished artwork.

Consistency is key! Add a few drops of water if paint is too thick to flow freely off your stir stick with little resistance.

Make sure that your canvas lies level and let the painting dry for 24 to 48 hours – if possible in a room that is not too hot and dry to avoid cracks.
