Why do we like True Crime shows?

1) The True Crime Genre can prepare you for anxiety-provoking situations.

For fans, the neural pathways in the brain appear to change over time. The brain develops neural pathways are a shortcut between the visual reaction (something bad) and the emotional reaction (fear or fright), and the active parts of the brain that send you to action mode!

2) Your interest in horror movies might be your brain trying to cope with current or past anxiety.

3) When is it too much?
