Third Space Improv opens ADA-accessible stage in St. Augustine

One of improvisation’s hallmarks is to always say ‘yes, and...’ Luckily, Amy Angelilli said yes to striking out and creating a dedicated improv space with hard work, a committed core of students, and every penny in her pocket. Third Space Improv just had its grand opening in downtown St. Augustine. Third Space Improv comes from the belief that everyone should have three spaces – the first, home; the second, work; and the third, a communal space where people can come together and bond over a shared interest. With the assistance of a State of the Arts (SOTA) Grant from the St. Johns Cultural Council, Third Space Improv constructed a stage with a ramp and a railing, providing access to community members with different physical abilities. Third Space Improv is a creative community space offering a six-level improv school, community events, improv comedy shows, organization team building, and unscripted experiences. Located at 200 Malaga Street #7 in downtown St. Augustine, the studio space features an ADA-accessible stage. Learn more at www.3rdspaceimprov.com and follow along on social media @3rdspaceimprov
