JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Florida State College at Jacksonville will host the 2026 Scout Jacksonville Classic, a four-day college basketball showcase featuring NCAA Division I men’s and women’s programs, Nov. 22-25 at The Reef on FSCJ’s South Campus.
The men’s field includes UIC, Lamar, Miami (Ohio), New Mexico State, Ohio, Rice and Robert Morris. The women’s field features five Power Four programs — Arizona, Oklahoma, Oregon State, Vanderbilt and Virginia — along with George Washington, Middle Tennessee State, Montana State and UAB.

“The Jacksonville Classic is a chance to show Jacksonville and the nation what makes FSCJ special,” FSCJ President John Avendano said. “We look forward to creating a welcoming experience for traveling fans, families and community members, while introducing them to FSCJ and everything our college has to offer.”
The event opens Sunday with three men’s games. Miami (Ohio), which is coming off a run in the 2026 NCAA Tournament, faces UIC at noon. Robert Morris plays New Mexico State at 2:30 p.m., followed by Rice vs. Lamar at 5 p.m.
Monday’s schedule features the women’s bracket, including Oregon State vs. Middle Tennessee State at noon, Oklahoma vs. Virginia at 2:30 p.m., Vanderbilt vs. Arizona at 5 p.m. and UAB vs. George Washington at 7:30 p.m.
“Our Manta Rays have built a winning atmosphere at The Reef, and this week we get to extend that same energy to Division I basketball on a national stage,” FSCJ Director of Athletics Jerry Thor said. “This is a great showcase for our venue and for Jacksonville.”
