Rance connected with skateboarder Poe Pinson while learning about the skatepark activations planned in Fernandina Beach. He discovered that she missed an opportunity to go to the 2020 Olympics due to extenuating circumstances. At the time of the conversation, qualifying for the 2024 Olympics hadn’t really launched, but they talked about her goals to fulfill that dream. The River City Live family decided to re-air that interview after learning that Poe will be representing the U.S.A. , Fernandina Beach and Jacksonville in Paris in just a few weeks.
