The National Ataxia Foundation (NAF) is an organization devoted to raising awareness, supporting families, and funding research for Ataxia, a rare and progressive neurological condition that impairs movement, balance, and coordination. The Foundation serves the Ataxia community through educational programs, support groups, and annual fundraising events focused on improving quality of life and accelerating treatments.
The 2nd Annual On the Move to Cure Ataxia Run/Walk will take place on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the Winston YMCA in Jacksonville, FL, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Participants can join the 1-mile fun walk, 5K, or 10K, either in person or virtually. All proceeds from the event will benefit the National Ataxia Foundation’s efforts to advance groundbreaking research and provide continued support to individuals and families affected by Ataxia.
