Beaches Go Green expands their mission

Beaches Go Green has expanded its mission to include educating the community not only about plastic pollution but about a variety of environmental toxins that impact both personal health and the health of the planet. The organization’s educational initiatives now address synthetic chemicals in clothing, pesticides in food, and indoor air pollution from candles, cleaning supplies, and air fresheners, among other sources. The organization encourages everyone to participate in protecting community and planetary health by making cleaner, more informed lifestyle choices.Individuals interested in sponsoring an educational talk for their neighborhood, friend group, or company are invited to contact Morgan Eaton at morgan@beachesgogreen.org. Students or teachers wishing to launch a Beaches Go Green student-led club at their school can reach out to Anne Marie Moquin at annemarie@beachesgogreen.org for more information and support.
