Blush is having a rosy revival

Carrie Wilson joined us for a Beauty Breakdown. She explained that blush has moved from a supporting step to a headline element in current makeup routines. Today’s looks favor more deliberate placement, with color swept across the cheeks and nose for a “cold” or sun-kissed effect, and extended toward the temples to create a subtle lifting shape. At the same time, cream and liquid formulas are gaining momentum, reflecting a broader shift toward dewy, skin-like finishes and multipurpose products.
